Considering Light Christian Academy For Your Student?

We use Abeka Curriculum for academics Pre-K – 8th Grade.
Bible Curriculum is published by Association of Christian Schools International.
Upper level students take Language Arts and Math  through Freedom Project Academy.  They also attend Rose State College to receive dual credits, and Metro Tech while still in high school at Light Christian Academy.
Our students all learn music by group and private instruction.

Who May Enroll?

Students that have a parent that is currently incarcerated OR has any history of incarceration may apply.  At the current time, LCA is enrolling students in Pre-K4 -Third Grade.

What grades are offered at Light Christian Academy?

Pre K (age 4 by September 1) through Grade 12.

How big are the classes?

Most of our classes have less than 10 students.

How much does it cost?

All enrolled students qualify for full tuition scholarships. Tuition, books, school supplies, uniform t-shirts and hoodies, 2 meals per day and a snack are all included in the scholarship package  There are no hidden fees or costs associated with attending Light Christian Academy.

Are fine arts offered at Light Christian Academy?

All students receive Music lessons and Art classes. Younger students take choir and ukulele. Beginning in third grade, students take semi-private lessons on a variety of instruments including drums, bass, keyboard, and guitar.

How do I enroll my child?

The first step of enrollment is filling out a prospective student form. If your student meets the initial criteria and we feel he or she might be a fit for our school, you will be contacted for an interview. After the interviews, the enrolled students are contacted. If there are no spots available, then students waiting for enrollment are put on our waiting list for the next available spots.
